"Although you were not selected for this position, we appreciate your desire to expand your career."

It must just be a good day for rejecting job applicants. That makes three in the last eight hours.

What's worse, it looks like I'm about to get fired from unemployment for not calling in on time. Talk about kicking a guy when he's down.

I don't know what I'm gonna make with all the LEGOs yet, but they're there when I need 'em.
Sadie stays happy. I guess she knows something I don't.

Well there goes Tuesday.

My only accomplishments for today were beating the Boost Guardian in Metroid Prime 2, and rescuing Diddy Kong in DK64. I did try to call the unemployment people, but the line was busy. Funny thing is, it's an automated line.

At this rate, I'm gonna need some more Zoloft. Mmm...seratonin. At least I've still got my stash in the freezer.

While I'm wasting time...

I figured I'd spend my remaining store credit at Homewood Toy & Hobby Shop. I got two boxes of LEGOs, assorted shapes and colors. I figure I can make mosaics and stuff, or sculptures. I want to have a whole room made out of them one of these days. Large numbers of small things fascinate me, which is one reason why I'm such a sucker for Asian girls.

More Words

As far as collections go, words are cheap. I'm tired of just being a math/science/engineering egghead, so now I'm gonna make that egg be more well-rounded. As such, here's some more new words I'm adding to my collection. Most of them come from David Brin's The Transparent Society. Brin is a Techer like who seems to have a penchant for new words. As before, I know some of these have obvious meanings; I'm looking for senses that are less common. Others get used all the time, but one gets the sense that the speaker doesn't really know what they mean.

I'm really proud of myself for writing the excel function that generated all those links. Now I just need to put it in a table. Rock on. I havn't felt this useful in weeks.

I know what you're thinking. I'll go back to monster now. :-(
